This week in Math and Science we put the finishing touches on Chemical Reactions. The morning class created an acronymn for the six chemical reactions they studied. D.E.E.D.S.S. We also finished up the fraction unit using all operations. In addition to regular scheduled classes we also volunteered in the community at Friends of Forgotten Children and at the N.H. Armory. Lastly, on Friday, we watched The Last Airbender with the afternoon students. The following questions should be answered for credit.

1. What are the four Nations in the film The Last Airbender?

2. Why does the fire nation take the elders at the beginning of the film?

3. What would you do if someone came to take your closest, dearest relative away? fight or flee? Why?

4. Air Nomads were extermininated-Why?

5. Predict the ending using a full and complete paragraph.
